FULL ITINERARY
8.00-8.30 Tour guide will come and pick you up from your hotel in Old Quarter to depart to Ninh Binh city.
10.30-11.00 Reach Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history as well as the old feudal architecture of Vietnam temples.
12:00 Enjoy buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Tam Coc. The food is served with Asian style, local dishes, organic vegetable and is located on the river overview Tam Coc where you can enjoy the view of overall riverside until the lunch time is finished (Vegetarians can be catered for if a prior notice is given at booking time).
13:30 After lunch, you will be led to Tam Coc wharf to start 2 hour boat trip to visit Tam Coc (known as Ha Long bay on land) with hundreds of limestone caves stretching along Ngo Dong river. If you travel during harvest season, you will have a chance to see many terrace rice fields in golden color along the river and the site of some temples along the way from Hang Ca (first cave) to Hang hai (second cave) and Hang Ba (third cave).
Optional activities: Riding bicycles or buffalo rides
16:00 Leave Tam Coc and drive back to Hanoi. You will arrive back in Hanoi around 7:00pm.
